On a calm day just north of Port Klang we watched Maritime Malaysia (their "Coast Guard") practice lifting a person from a boat to a helicopter and back to the boat. The exercise was conducted at high speed, probably to simulate windy conditions. In a storm they would also have to contend with waves, making the operation much more difficult.
